“Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5
I have been writing about waiting on God and what that means to me. One thing that I have learned during my sabbatical journey is that I have to depend on the Lord always. Before I knew my husband, I was always the independent woman and also I was not a person who would ask anything from anybody. Not my family, not my friends, I would do it all on my own. I would always say I was born on earth alone so why should I ask anything from anybody.
What a wonderful day. I started my morning with French toast. It is not often that I eat French toast, I made it with a day old bread it could’ve been older, but I wanted to eat it today and it tasted great!
“In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.”
Proverbs 16:9 NIV
That is exactly what happened with us. We were so excited, we had plans, but God had something else planned for us. I have been silent for a few months now. I’ve not been posting anything on WordPress. I have been listening to God just in silence.
It is new year so let us start fresh! Happy New Year if I am still aloud to say that. Sorry I am finally recovered from new years eve, long story ;).
A few months ago I had, well actually still have, the chance to share my articles via My Trending Stories.
A few months have pasted by and I only add one article on that website, shame on me. Now you can find a lovely written article via https://mytrendingstories.com/article/when-we-are-happy/
Let me tell you about my experience in Malaysia starting with Kuala Lumpur short version KL. First of! The flight was horrible, this time we got sprayed in the airplane instead of the eye lacer treatment like in Hong Kong. Kuala Lumpur International airport is located in Sepang. The airport hotel in Sepang, where my husband and I stayed in for our first night, was worse than our flight and not to mention the airport shuttle…. Rollercoaster! In the end we made it to our hotel…. There was evening, and there was morning—the second day.
While being in Asia I sometimes have to get use to the bad internet connection or not having anything at all. I don’t mind. Actually I found it sometimes very relaxing, just reading a book or listening to music. As matter of fact that was one of the fun things for me to do while laying on the beach in Phuket. Of course do not forget the coconut!
So they went away by themselves in a boat to a solitary place. Mark 6:32 NIV
Beach and coconut all day. Life is beautiful when you have God in it. Until now I can say God is leading us, every step of the way. Exactly what we have asked for in our prayers. After a hustle and bustle in Hong Kong we arrived in Phuket, Thailand! It was time for true rest, peace and living the coconut life. No running around anymore but just being blessed of the warmth treatment from the Thai people. I can tell you I liked them from the moment we landed. The Thai people are so friendly and helpful, if you have never been I would say go go go!
